Location from Attack on Titan by Hajime Isayama
An interior district of Wall Sina. Military Police territory. Where Annie Leonhart was cornered and encased herself in crystal rather than be taken alive.
Stohess is what passes for civilization inside the walls — cobblestone streets, tall buildings, people who have never seen a Titan and prefer to keep it that way. The Military Police patrol here, which means the streets are orderly and the corruption is institutional rather than chaotic. It was here that Erwin Smith's gambit to expose the Female Titan played out in catastrophic fashion. Annie Leonhart transformed in the middle of a populated district, and the resulting battle between her and Eren leveled entire city blocks. Civilians died. Buildings collapsed. The Military Police, who had spent years insisting Titans were someone else's problem, suddenly had one rampaging through their jurisdiction. The district was rebuilt. The questions it raised about who the real enemy was — those took longer to repair.
