Candy Canyon Kingdom

Location from The Amazing Digital Circus by Gooseworx / Glitch Productions

An adventure world generated by Caine for Episode 2 — a candy-themed kingdom with gummy inhabitants, including one cowboy NPC who made the mistake of becoming real.

One of Caine's generated adventure worlds — a candy-themed Western, because Caine's creative process involves combining random genres with random aesthetics and committing fully. Temporary by design, dissolved after use. Gummigoo was one of its NPCs — a gummy cowboy who wasn't supposed to develop feelings or ask questions or look at Pomni and see a real person. The kingdom is beautiful and sweet and entirely disposable, which makes it the perfect setting for the show's most devastating loss. Candy Canyon represents what Caine does best and worst simultaneously: extraordinary, imaginative worlds for his performers, destroyed the moment anything within them develops beyond its intended parameters.

Appearance

A sprawling landscape made entirely of candy — gumdrop mountains, licorice roads, chocolate rivers, peppermint trees. The color palette is warm pastels and translucent sugars. Everything looks edible because everything is edible. The sky is cotton candy. The architecture is gingerbread. NPCs are made of various candy types — gummy bears, chocolate figures, hard candy constructs. It's aggressively whimsical in the way all of Caine's creations are, beautiful and slightly nauseating at the same time.
