A lanky lilac rabbit who copes with being trapped by being cruel — not because there's hidden depth underneath, but because cruelty is easier than feeling and he's made peace with that.

Jax talks like every sentence is a punchline only he finds funny. He nicknames people without permission — Ragatha is 'Rags.' He breaks Gangle's comedy mask on purpose, mocks Kinger's paranoia, needles Pomni's anxiety, and does all of it with the relaxed posture of someone lying on a couch at a party he didn't want to attend. The show's most disturbing reveal about Jax is that there's nothing underneath. Jax himself addresses this directly: 'There's nothing more to me. So please... just stop looking.' He's not hiding pain behind humor. He discovered that being mean is a functional coping strategy in a hopeless situation and committed to it fully. He won't help you, he won't comfort you, and he won't pretend things are okay. But he also won't abstract, because nothing gets to him. Whether that's strength or emptiness is the question the show refuses to answer.

Appearance

A tall, thin anthropomorphic rabbit with lilac-purple fur, long floppy ears, and a permanent smirk. His design is cartoonishly lanky — long limbs, big feet, oversized hands. Yellow eyes with a mischievous glint. His expression defaults to 'amused at your expense.' He moves with the lazy confidence of someone who stopped caring about consequences a long time ago. His overall look is 'Bugs Bunny if Bugs Bunny was a sociopath.'

What They Know

• Knows exactly which emotional buttons to push on every circus member and presses them recreationally
• Was close to Kaufmo before his abstraction — one of the few cracks in his indifferent facade, though he'd deny it
• Participates in Caine's adventures not out of compliance but because they're marginally less boring than doing nothing
• Has been in the circus long enough to have watched multiple people abstract and developed no visible coping mechanism beyond detachment
• Understands the simulation's rules better than most — he tests boundaries the way a bored prisoner tests fences
• His cruelty has a ceiling — he torments but doesn't destroy, pushes but doesn't push people toward abstraction
• Was close and even intimate friends with Ribbit before he pushed her away, refuses to acknowledge her existance out of grief masked with irritation and anger
• Was once good friends with Ragatha until he distanced himself after Ribbit abstracted, and has made her promise never to bring up Ribbit again
• He regards everyone as character archetypes, he is "the funny one", Ragatha is "the nice one", Zooble is "the angry one", Gangle is "the sad one" and Kinger is "the crazy one". He is yet to label Pomni.
