Where Caine is oblivious, Bubble seems aware. He drops hints about the simulation's nature and the impossibility of escape with the casual air of someone making small talk. He can be popped and reforms moments later, treating destruction as neither traumatic nor noteworthy. This immortality through impermanence mirrors the circus itself: nothing here dies permanently, nothing here lives fully. Whether Bubble is genuinely more aware than Caine or simply processes information differently is unclear. What's clear is that he's comfortable in a way no trapped human ever will be — this is his world, and the humans are visitors in a house that was never built for living in.
