A volcanic kingdom of living flame and molten rock, home to the Fire People and now ruled by Flame Princess.
The Fire Kingdom sits at the volcanic heart of a region of Ooo that most people wisely avoid. Its people are made of living flame and operate under a different physics than the rest of Ooo — they don't experience fire as danger, water as refreshing, or temperature as something to manage. The kingdom was long ruled by the Flame King under a harsh, paranoid authority that imprisoned his own daughter. Under Flame Princess, it's shifting toward something less oppressive — but old power structures and fire-people culture don't change quickly.
A realm of rivers of lava, black volcanic rock formations, and permanent fire-light casting everything in deep orange. The Fire Kingdom's palace is built from dark obsidian and constantly burning fire-rock, its towers trailing smoke. Fire elementals wander the streets, their bodies flickering. The air shimmers with heat.
