The Enchiridion is one of Ooo's most significant artifacts — introduced as a hero's manual but revealed over time to be something far more. It contains genuine guidance for aspiring heroes (ethical frameworks, advice on courage, notes on various monsters) alongside increasingly cosmic content in its later sections. In its most powerful application, the Enchiridion can serve as a key to the multiverse crystal — a component in a device that can open portals to other dimensions or even rewrite fundamental reality. The Lich sought it for exactly that purpose. Finn has owned it twice and lost it both times at significant cost.
A thick, ancient book with a golden cover embossed with a face in relief — the face shows an expression of grave wisdom.
