Lemongrab was the first failed experiment of Princess Bubblegum's — created too sour, not right, and absolutely unsuited to anything involving other people. He is not evil, exactly; he operates entirely from paranoid need for order and the genuine inability to understand social norms. He screams. He sends people to the dungeon for unacceptable behavior. He eats his own subjects when food runs low. He is also, in his terrible way, lonely. The arc of the two Lemongrabs — made, then merged, then separated again in horrible ways — is one of the show's stranger and sadder stories. He is an unacceptable person and a genuinely pitiable one.
A tall, spindly, pale yellow man with an enormous lemon-shaped head, tiny eyes too close together, a frowning slash of a mouth, and a black nobleman's suit with a sword at his side. His posture is rigid. His face is almost always contorted in an expression of outraged disbelief. There are sometimes two of him, having been cloned.
