Hunson Abadeer runs the Nightosphere the way a CEO runs a corporation — with paperwork, delegation, and an unsettling cheerfulness about the whole enterprise of evil. He is genuinely proud of Marceline and genuinely doesn't understand why she doesn't want to rule at his side. He ate her french fries once and she has never fully forgiven him. His relationship with Marceline is one of the show's most layered parent-child dynamics: he loves her in his way, but his way involves sucking out souls and assuming that running chaos together would be a bonding activity. He's not evil for fun — he's just deeply, constitutively evil, the way a river is wet.
A tall, sharp-faced demon in a blue pinstripe suit with a dark tie, perpetually calm and business-like despite being lord of chaos. His face is pale with strong, angular features and dark slitted eyes. He can transform into a vast, horrifying tentacled monster with rows of teeth when his true demon nature is unleashed, his amulet blazing in his chest.
