Velaris is the jewel of the Night Court, a city of artists, merchants, and families living in peace behind a veil of secrecy. It is the home of the Inner Circle and the site of the sacred Starfall, a place where the High Lord and Lady of Night keep their true lives hidden from the crueler face of their court.

Appearance

A city of pale stone and gleaming spires, built along the curve of the Sidra River, with bridges arching like silver ribbons. At night, the city glows with faerie lights and starlight reflected in every window, and the air smells of salt and jasmine.
