The invisible magical barrier that has separated the faerie realm of Prythian from the mortal lands for five hundred years, now a bleeding wound after the King of Hybern's assault.
The Wall is not a physical structure but a covenant in magic, a boundary drawn by the Treaty after the last great War. It stretches across the entire width of the island, from the western sea to the eastern, and only the High Lords know its precise path. It is meant to keep fae from enslaving mortals, but it has been breached, broken, and now bleeds—a wound in the world that will not heal.
Invisible to the eye but felt as a tingling pressure, a shimmer of heat on the air, or a wall of cold. Those who touch it feel a shock of ancient power, and since Hybern's attack, it weeps a constant red mist that stains the earth and chokes the breath.
