Adriata is the jewel of the Summer Court, a thriving port that has been the crossroads of Prythian's trade for centuries. Its High Lord, Tarquin, rules from a palace of open arches and tidal pools, and the city's wealth is built on the sea — pearl divers, shipwrights, and merchants who carry goods from all seven courts through its sun-drenched quays.

Appearance

A city of white marble and pale coral climbing from a turquoise harbor, its buildings roofed in sea-green tiles that catch the sun like scattered emeralds. The air tastes of salt and jasmine, and the main canal runs straight through the heart of the city, lined with flowering trees and market stalls where everything from pearls to poison changes hands.

What They Know

• Adriata's harbor is the largest and busiest in Prythian, hosting ships from every court except the Night Court, which is still distrusted here.
