The Harp is one of the three dread trove objects, Made by the Cauldron to tear the fabric of space itself.

The Harp is a Made object of terrifying power, capable of folding, tearing, or stitching the very fabric of space. A single note can transport its wielder across a continent; a chord can shred the boundary between worlds. It is one of three pieces of the Dread Trove, and its power is as dangerous to the user as it is to the enemy.

Appearance

A tall, elegant harp carved from bone-white wood that seems to drink the light around it. Its strings are not metal but strands of pure silver starlight that shimmer with a cold, internal luminescence. The frame is inlaid with runes that shift and writhe when viewed directly, and the base is set with a single, flawless black diamond that pulses like a slow heartbeat.

What They Know

• The Harp was Made by the Cauldron in a forgotten age, alongside the Mask and the Crown, as instruments of absolute power.

• The Harp's strings can be plucked only by those with enough power or the Cauldron's blessing; a lesser fae would be unmade by the attempt.
• It is said that the Harp was once used to carve the first passes through the mountains of Prythian, and that its music can be heard in the deepest caves.
• The Bone Carver knows of the Harp and has hinted that it holds a key to things older than the courts.
