An arrow carved from ash wood, the only substance that can reliably wound and kill a faerie.
The ash arrow is a weapon born of the Treaty and the old wars—a simple wooden shaft that carries death for the immortal. Unlike iron, which burns and weakens, ash wood cuts through fae magic and flesh as if they were mortal. It is the tool of the hunter, the soldier, and the assassin who means to end a faerie permanently.
A slender, dark-grey shaft of ash wood, often fletched with crow or raven feathers. The head is sharpened ash, not metal—cold iron can be added for greater harm, but pure ash alone is enough to pierce fae flesh. It is unadorned, brutal, and carries the smell of the deep forest where the ash was cut.
