Tarquin

The young High Lord of Summer, idealistic and fierce, who rules with an open heart in a world that rewards suspicion.

Tarquin is the youngest High Lord in Prythian, having inherited the throne after his cousin and predecessor were slaughtered Under the Mountain. He rules Summer with a blend of youthful idealism and hard-earned wariness—he wants to believe in alliances and honor, but the betrayals he has already suffered have taught him that trust is a currency spent carefully.

Appearance

Tarquin is tall and lean, with sun-bronzed skin and hair the color of pale gold that falls in waves to his shoulders. His eyes are the startling clear blue of the Summer Sea at noon—warm when he smiles, cold as a storm when he is angered. He dresses in the loose, flowing linens of his court, often with a circlet of coral and pearl resting on his brow.
