King of Hybern
Character from acotar-wings-and-ruin by
Ancient king of Hybern, bent on enslaving mortals and shattering the Wall that has kept his armies at bay for five centuries.
The King of Hybern is a patient, calculating tyrant who has spent five hundred years nursing a grudge and building the means to satisfy it. He moves with the unhurried certainty of a predator who knows his prey has nowhere left to run, and he speaks softly, because he has never needed to shout to be obeyed.
Appearance
Tall and gaunt, with a face that might have been handsome once but is now carved into something cold and predatory. His hair is silver-white, his eyes the pale blue of a winter sky just before a killing frost, and he dresses in the black and iron-grey of his war-court, unadorned save for the Cauldron-mark that burns against his breastbone.
Also known as: King of Hybern, the King, the ancient enemy, the warlord from across the sea, the breaker of treaties

- The Dread Trove is real, and if he can claim it, not even the combined High Lords will stand against him.
- The mating bond between Feyre and Rhysand is their greatest weakness — break one, and the other falls.
- The Illyrian legions are fierce but fractious, and their war-camps can be turned against their own High Lord.
- Suriel blood, spilled on the right ground, can force truth from any fae — a trick he learned from the old witches of the northern isles.
