Character from acotar-thorns-and-roses by
An ancient being who dwells in a lonely cottage deep in the woods, weaving fate into cloth and guarding a piece of the Dread Trove with a patience older than the courts.
The Weaver is a keeper of secrets and a maker of endings, a creature of the old world who remembers the Cauldron's first stirrings and the Making of the Dread Trove. She does not leave her cottage, does not need to — the threads of fate come to her, and she weaves them into tapestries that show the shape of what is to come, though she will never say what she sees.
She appears as a gaunt, stooped figure in a threadbare grey shawl, her face a web of deep lines and her eyes the color of old bone — milky, unblinking, seeing something beyond the room. Her hands are never still, ceaselessly working a loom that hums with a low, resonant power, and the air around her smells of dust, wool, and something faintly metallic, like blood left to dry.
Also known as: The Weaver, the old woman of the woods, the spinner of threads, the guardian of the Harp, the bone-eyed crone, the keeper of the loom
