The Attor
Character from acotar-thorns-and-roses by
A winged, venomous creature who serves as Amarantha's chief torturer and enforcer Under the Mountain, carrying out her cruelties with a relish that makes even the High Lords flinch.
The Attor is Amarantha's right hand in cruelty, a creature of pure malice who delights in the screams it extracts from its victims. It is cunning enough to follow orders precisely but vicious enough to improvise fresh horrors when the mood strikes, and it serves its queen with a devotion born of fear and a shared love of suffering.
Appearance
The Attor is a massive, bat-winged creature with leathery grey skin stretched taut over bones that seem too sharp, too angular for anything alive. Its face is a nightmare of needle-teeth and lidless yellow eyes, and its long, forked tongue drips a venom that can paralyze or kill, depending on its mistress's mood.
Also known as: The Attor, Amarantha's Attor, the winged fiend, the torturer, the venomous one
