Beneath the smirk and the wine lies a mind that has been planning for fifty years, a heart that has been broken and rebuilt, and a will that will burn the world down for the few people he loves.

Appearance

Tall and lithe, with blue-black hair that catches starlight and violet eyes so dark they are nearly black, fringed with lashes any courtesan would envy. His skin is brown as aged oak, and when he smiles — which is often, and never quite kindly — it reveals teeth just a shade too sharp. Wings of pure darkness, edged in silver, unfurl from his back when he chooses to show them, and he moves with the lazy, predatory grace of a cat who has already won.
