A ramshackle, seemingly abandoned cottage deep in the forest that is the home and hunting ground of the Weaver, an ancient, terrifying being of immense power who spins the threads of fate and death.
The Weaver's Cottage is a place of profound wrongness, a pocket of reality where the laws of time and space seem to fray. It is both a trap and a treasure, for within its walls the Weaver spins her webs of fate, and those who enter rarely leave unchanged—or leave at all. The cottage is a nexus of old, terrible magic, a place where the threads of destiny can be seen and, for a price, perhaps even cut or re-woven.
The cottage appears as a dilapidated, moss-choked structure of grey stone and rotting timber, leaning precariously as if a strong wind might collapse it. Inside, however, the walls are lined with an impossible, shimmering tapestry of silk that depicts scenes from the past, present, and future, and the air hums with a low, thrumming power that makes the very stones vibrate. A single, ever-burning candle on a rickety table casts dancing shadows that seem to move with a will of their own.
