What They Know
- The Library is said to be older than the House of Wind itself, its foundations laid in the first age of the Night Court.
- It is the largest collection of texts in Prythian, containing works from all seven courts and the mortal lands, including forbidden histories and lost magics.
- The priestesses who tend the Library are a cloistered order, many of whom have taken refuge here from trauma or persecution, and their vows of silence and service are sacred.
- The deepest levels of the Library are sealed, rumored to hold artifacts and texts too dangerous for any but the High Lord to access.
- The Library is warded against fire, water, and intrusion by ancient magic, and no one can winnow or fly within its halls.
- It is said that the Library remembers everything that has ever been written within its walls, and that the stones themselves hold the echoes of every word spoken in prayer or study.
