Ramiel

Location from acotar-silver-flames by

The sacred mountain at the heart of Illyria, where the Blood Rite is fought and where the oldest oaths of the winged warriors are sworn.

Ramiel is the holiest site in Illyria, a mountain that has witnessed the Blood Rite since before the first war-camps were raised. To climb it is to prove oneself worthy of the name Illyrian; to reach its peak is to claim a victory that echoes through the centuries. The mountain is both a proving ground and a graveyard, its slopes littered with the remains of those who failed, and its summit a place of terrible, sacred power.

Appearance

Ramiel rises from the Illyrian steppes like a black fang against the sky, its peak sheathed in eternal snow and its flanks scarred by millennia of wind, war, and the passage of desperate warriors. At its base, the rock is dark and rough-hewn, littered with scree and the bones of those who fell; higher up, the air thins to a razor's edge and the silence becomes absolute, broken only by the howl of the wind and the distant thunder of avalanches.
