The Harp is one of the three dread objects of the Dread Trove, a made thing of the Cauldron that predates the courts and the Wall. It is a key to the very fabric of reality, capable of opening doorways between worlds, folding distance, and even unmaking the threads of time itself. To wield it is to hold the power to reshape existence, but the cost is paid in the soul of the wielder, for the Harp does not give its gifts freely.
The Harp is carved from a single piece of bone-white stone, veined with silver that seems to shift and flow like liquid starlight. Its frame is tall and slender, curving into the shape of a crescent moon, and its strings are not made of any mortal or faerie substance but of pure, shimmering light that hums with a frequency that vibrates in the bones of anyone who draws near. When played, the air around it ripples and distorts, and shadows cling to its base as if afraid to be left behind.
