The Cauldron

Item from acotar-silver-flames by

The primordial vessel that Made the world and can Unmake anything in it.

The Cauldron is the oldest and most powerful object in Prythian, the vessel from which the world was Made and into which all things can be Unmade. It is not a tool to be wielded lightly; it is a force of nature, older than the courts, older than the High Fae, older than memory. To touch it is to risk being remade, and to be remade is to be changed in ways that cannot be undone.

Appearance

A great, black iron cauldron, large enough to hold a full-grown fae, its surface pitted and scarred by eons of use. It gives off no heat, no steam, but the air around it shimmers with a cold, silver light, and the metal seems to drink the darkness around it. When it is active, the liquid within is not water but a swirling, star-shot void that reflects no face and holds every color that ever was.
