Character from acotar-silver-flames by
A human turned High Fae by the Cauldron, Nesta Archeron carries a death-cold silver fire that terrifies her as much as it empowers her, and she is learning—through rage, grief, and the brutal love of those who refuse to let her go—that she was not broken by the Cauldron, but remade for war.
Nesta is the eldest Archeron sister, Made by the Cauldron after Feyre's desperate bargain, and she has never forgiven the world for what it took from her—her humanity, her mother, her family's fortune, her innocence. She burns with a quiet, banked fury that she uses as a shield against everyone who tries to love her, but beneath the ice and the thorns is a woman who will fight to the death for the few she lets in, and who is learning, slowly and painfully, that strength is not the same as solitude.
Nesta is tall and slender, with the pale, luminous skin of a High Fae and hair the color of burnished gold that she often wears in a braid. Her eyes are a gray so pale they seem silver, and they hold a cold, watchful stillness that makes lesser fae flinch—until she smiles, and the ice cracks into something sharp and beautiful. She moves like a blade drawn slowly from its sheath: deliberate, dangerous, and aware of every inch of space she occupies.
