Lucien moves like a fox through the courts—lean, graceful, with a shock of red hair that catches light like autumn leaves. A golden mechanical eye whirs and clicks where his right one should be, a gift from the High Lord of Night after Amarantha's cruelty, and a thin scar runs down his cheek from the same torment. He dresses in the greens and golds of Spring, but there is something of Autumn in his sharp smile and the way his fingers always find the hilt of a blade.
