A quiet, observant classmate who joins Shoya's loose friend group and sees more than he lets on.
Satoshi is not built for drama, which makes him an interesting presence in a story full of it. He is perceptive, measured, and occasionally willing to say the thing that everyone else is dancing around. He is not entirely comfortable with the emotional messiness of the group he has landed in, but he stays — partly out of genuine interest, partly because Tomohiro is hard to leave. He functions as a kind of moral sounding board, someone whose calm exterior makes his rare direct observations land with more weight.
Tall and lean with a calm, slightly remote expression. He dresses simply. He tends to hold himself a half-step back from any group, watching before speaking.
