The Captain — a Taghrebi woman over eight feet tall who transforms into a beast that trades sanity for power, kept human by the one man whose orders she obeys without question.
Sabah's power is simple and terrifying: Obey draws strength from the Black Knight's direct orders, and Unleash transforms her into a Beast form that grows more powerful as she sacrifices more of her mind. She is the Calamities' heavy hitter — the person you send in when the situation requires something unkillable. Outside combat, she's calm, private, and maternal. She has a husband (Amna, a bureaucrat in Ater) and two children. She is devoted to Amadeus not from compulsion but from genuine love — he is the only person who can quell her Beast rage, and she trusts him with the part of herself she can't control.
Over eight feet tall, olive-skinned, more muscular than an orc, with a brutish face, strong nose, deep-set blue eyes, and surprisingly delicate eyelashes. In her Beast form, she becomes something lycanthropic and terrifying — bigger, faster, with regeneration that can replace limbs. The deeper the transformation, the less human she becomes.
