Rozala Malanza is the Princess of Aequitan and one of the Principate's finest generals, alongside Klaus Papenheim. She commanded Proceran armies during the Northern Crusade campaign with enough skill to earn Catherine's professional respect — which Catherine gives grudgingly to anyone who isn't Juniper. Her personal grudge against Cordelia stems from her mother's death during the Proceran Civil War. Politics and grief intertwine in her character — she's too professional to let the grudge compromise the war effort, but too human to let it go entirely.
Proceran noblewoman with the bearing of a military commander — aristocratic features hardened by campaign experience. She carries herself like someone born to lead armies, not attend court.
