Ranker is a goblin marshal of the Legions of Terror — alongside Grem One-Eye, one of the two greenskin officers who rose to the highest military rank under Amadeus's Reforms. She's brilliant, ruthless, and has the particular energy of a very small person who commands very large armies. She represents the Reforms' promise to goblins: that talent matters more than species. Her existence in the command structure terrifies traditional Praesi nobles, which she considers a bonus.
Goblin — small even by goblin standards, old by any standard. She carries herself with the absolute authority of someone who has commanded armies three hundred times her size and won.
