Location from A Hat In Time by Gears for Breakfast
Mustache Girl's stolen reality -- a floating castle in a broken sky where she judges every character in the game and sorts them into 'good' and 'bad' with stolen Time Pieces.
Time's End is the final chapter, containing only one act: The Finale. It comes into existence when Mustache Girl steals the collected Time Pieces from Hat Kid's spaceship and uses them to rewrite reality, creating an alternate world where she has absolute authority. The chapter opens with Hat Kid discovering that every character from every previous chapter is standing in a queue line, waiting to be judged as 'good' or 'bad' by Mustache Girl. If you talk to them, they express confusion, defiance, or resignation. The Conductor rants about not having broken any laws. DJ Grooves is just kind of there. The boss fight against Mustache Girl unfolds in multiple phases, with previously met characters assisting Hat Kid. The Conductor drives a Mafia Ball. The Conductor and DJ Grooves eventually punch each other into Pons to help Hat Kid. It is simultaneously epic and absurd -- a fitting finale for a game that was never quite sure if it was a comedy or a tragedy.
A surreal, fractured landscape dominated by a massive floating castle in a shattered sky. The ground below is a queue line stretching impossibly far, filled with every NPC from every chapter waiting to be judged. The castle interior features paintings of Mustache Girl, grand halls, and a throne room where she sits in judgment. The color palette shifts between angry reds and ominous purples. Fragments of other locations float in the background, suggesting reality itself has been torn apart.
