Character from A Hat In Time by Gears for Breakfast
An unnaturally tall cat crime lord who runs Nyakuza Metro's underground empire from a jewelry store -- cross her and she will kill you instantly, no exceptions.
The Empress does not negotiate. She does not threaten. She does not give second chances. She sits behind the desk of her jewelry store 'Le Felin' in Nyakuza Metro's main station and runs her crime ring with the calm efficiency of someone who has never needed to raise her voice because everyone already knows what happens if they displease her. She uses Hat Kid's desperation for Time Pieces as leverage, sending her deeper into the Metro to collect them while taking a cut of every find. She lets Hat Kid do the dangerous work and then sends gang members to take the reward. If Hat Kid attacks the Empress, she scratches her once and Hat Kid dies -- even with maximum health, even with Assist Mode, even if you try to use Time Stop to escape. She is the only character in the game who is simply unkillable. During Rush Hour, when Hat Kid finally tries to leave with her Time Pieces, the Empress mobilizes the entire Metro against her. The final escape sequence is a desperate chase through the underground as every cat in the system tries to bring Hat Kid down.
An anthropomorphic feline of uncertain breed -- features suggest Siamese, Oriental Shorthair, or Sphynx ancestry. Black and grey fur with a slick of white hair between two large ears. Neon yellow scleras with a blue iris in the left eye. A lightning-bolt scar over her left eye, a scar on her neck, and an X-shaped scar on her right hand-paw. Unnaturally tall compared to other Metro Cats. Wears a black fur-lined coat ending in deep red with a golden cat's paw emblem on the back. Three rings on each hand. Two long, frayed whiskers on each side. Three golden necklaces beneath the coat. A long, kinked tail suggesting a history of violent encounters.
