Character from A Hat In Time by Gears for Breakfast
Hat Kid's loyal roomba -- it vacuums the spaceship, drops Pons when hit, and will spin in circles with you riding on top if you bump it into a wall.
Rumbi is the emotional heart of Hat Kid's spaceship and possibly the entire game. It does not speak. It does not have dialogue. It vacuums. It makes soft humming noises. It bumps gently into walls and turns around. And somehow this tiny robot vacuum cleaner has become one of the most beloved characters in A Hat in Time. Functionally, Rumbi drops single Pons when hit, provides Sprint Yarn if the player misses Mustache Girl's gift, and unlocks the Vacuum Vandal achievement when ridden. But its real purpose is to make the spaceship feel like home. Without Rumbi, the hub is just a big empty room with doors. With Rumbi, it's a place where someone -- something -- is taking care of things while you're away. Riding Rumbi is pure joy. Stand on it and it slows down. Push it into a wall and both of you spin while Hat Kid shouts 'Weee!' It is the most wholesome interaction in a game full of murder ghosts and crime cats.
A small round robotic vacuum cleaner resembling a Roomba, with a simple smiling face on its top surface. Emits a soft vacuuming hum as it moves. When ridden, it emits sparks and screeching sounds. Teal-green in color with a white face plate. The only non-humanoid character on the spaceship.
