Queen Vanessa does not have dialogue in the traditional sense. She has lures. 'Would you like some cookies?' she calls sweetly into empty rooms while hunting Hat Kid through her manor. 'How about some tea?' She speaks to herself, laughs at nothing, and shifts between maternal sweetness and predatory silence with no warning. Her backstory is told through scattered diary entries and Storybook pages. She loved her Prince with an intensity that bordered on obsession -- she styled his hair to match hers, banned bacon because he loved it more than her, and hated being called Queen because it meant she was no longer his 'princess.' When she saw him holding hands with a florist (he was buying flowers for Vanessa), she assumed betrayal and chained him in the basement. Her grief and rage manifested as ice powers that froze the entire kingdom of Subcon. Every frozen figure in her manor is a previous intruder she caught. Mafia Goons, old men, Subcon Dwellers -- all encased in ice, posed in rooms like a collection. She is the most dangerous entity in the game: touching her means instant death with no fight, no second chance. You do not defeat Queen Vanessa. You hide from her and pray she doesn't check the closet you're in.
An inhumanly tall, shadowy figure whose form shifts like constantly moving smoke. The only visible features are two blazing red star-shaped eyes that ignite when she spots an intruder. Casts a shadow revealing thin arms, long messy hair, and a hunched posture. Her prior form was a beautiful princess with flowing hair. Now she is darkness given shape -- formless, enormous, and utterly terrifying.
