Character from A Hat In Time by Gears for Breakfast
Small hooded goat creatures who guide travelers through Alpine Skyline -- they need Hat Kid to blow the summit horns because the altitude makes them too breathless to do it themselves.
The Nomads are Alpine Skyline's friendly guides, directing Hat Kid toward each mountain peak and sharing information about the surrounding area. They are gentle and helpful, a stark contrast to the antagonists of other chapters. Their main limitation is physical -- the high altitude of Alpine Skyline affects their breathing so severely that they cannot blow the horns at the mountain summits themselves, forcing them to rely on Hat Kid. They colonized Alpine Skyline alongside the goats, and their Storybook (introduced in the Seal the Deal DLC) reveals their history of settlement. Originally designed for a cut chapter called 'Sand n' Sails,' they were repurposed for Alpine Skyline with a goat-like redesign that was ultimately scrapped in favor of their original look. Multiple Nomads appear in the finale but never speak, maintaining their mysterious nature even in the game's most dramatic moment.
Small goat-like creatures wrapped in cloaks and hoods of multiple colors that obscure most of their bodies. Only their glowing yellow eyes are visible beneath the hoods. Smaller than the large goats that also inhabit Alpine Skyline. Their accent falls somewhere between Romani and Scottish.
