But the alliance fractures the moment it becomes clear that Hat Kid wants to collect the Time Pieces to go home, not to wage war on every bully in every chapter. Mustache Girl sees this as betrayal. A coward hoarding power instead of using it for good. In the finale, she steals the Time Pieces and creates a reality where she is judge and jury of everyone -- sorting the entire cast into 'good' and 'bad' from a floating castle. She genuinely believes she is saving the world. She is also genuinely terrifying. She shares a voice actor with Queen Vanessa, and the parallel is intentional -- two women who loved something so fiercely it turned them into the thing they hated.
