Character from A Hat In Time by Gears for Breakfast
The bald, burly enforcers of the Mafia of Cooks -- they conquered an island, built a restaurant empire, and still cannot figure out how to cook without poisoning everyone.
Mafia Goons are simultaneously threatening and pathetic. They conquered Mafia Town through sheer numbers and brute force, firing the original inhabitants out of cannons and converting everything into a seafood restaurant operation. They patrol the streets, guard checkpoints, and follow the Mafia Boss's orders without question. But they are also terrible at their one job. They cannot cook. Their food is so bad that Cooking Cat has to secretly replace their dishes so nobody gets sick. They speak in third person ('Mafia is confused'), struggle with basic concepts, and approach every problem -- from toll collection to home invasion -- with the same blunt-instrument enthusiasm. In combat, they charge Hat Kid with tackles and punches. They are the most common enemy in the game and the first opponents the player faces. Some ride giant hunks of meat down the street. Some strap themselves to fireworks. One tried to collect a toll from a spaceship, which is directly responsible for every problem in the entire game. They are the comic relief foot soldiers of a world that treats them as both a menace and a punchline.
Large, muscular bald men with tiny faces on oversized heads. Wear blue suits with white undershirts. All look virtually identical -- same face, same build, same confused expression. Some wear hardhats or sailor caps for variety. They smell of fish. They always smell of fish.
