A masked, glitching figure who appears in every corner of the world selling magical badges -- their body spasms, their mask rotates, and nobody knows what they are.
The Badge Seller is one of the game's most mysterious figures. They appear in every chapter, multiple times, selling Badges for Pons from seemingly impossible locations -- construction sites, train cabooses, mountaintops, forest clearings. They never explain how they get there, and their glitching body suggests that traveling between so many worlds has taken a physical toll. Their connection to the Snatcher is implied but never confirmed -- the matching purple coloring, the two-digit hands, and their consistent presence in Subcon Forest all suggest a deeper relationship. Their theme music was originally composed for the cut character Moon Jumper, adding another layer of mystery to their identity. They are polite, businesslike, and utterly unconcerned with the various apocalyptic situations happening around them. The world could be ending and they would still be there, mask spasming, offering you a Hookshot Badge for a reasonable price.
